My gray hair is not being fully covered. It looks translucent. Is there anything that can be added to the dye to make the dye go all the way through or take better?

Yes...but you'll need to raise your concerns with your hairdresser, she/he will can sort this for you.
If they can't, go for a consultation at another salon, these are normally free.
