Hi geeks does anyone have a formula to cover a small percentage of grey. The problem I have is I do a lady with a warm base 6 with a full head bleach foils and she’s wanting it more of 10/1. It kicks out a lot of warmth so I tone with 10/16 but she’s started to go grey around the hairline and wants to cover it but I don’t want to start tinting as I’m gonna get more warmth and she wants it as cool as possible. Any suggestions guys?? Xx

You need to drop to a 9 to cover it.

Thanks for replying,Would you use 9/0 & 6% on the hairline and 9/0 and 12% everywhere else??

You can still use bleach to lift but a 10 isn’t strong enough to tone the grey/white hair as you need to add colour so I’d look at something with a bit of warmth to tone, although not sure I’d use a flat 9/0. (I’m not really a Wella geek other than I love using Illumina)

Try the Schwarzkopf blonde me white blend range, you get up to 4 levels lift and coverage xxx

Thankyou for your replies! I will have a look at both ranges! xx
