Hi geeks, can anyone help. I've got a client with 50%grey level 4 box colour on ends. She is a natural level 4 but wants 6/73 I use wella. I was planning on mixing 6/0and 6/73 and 9% but worrried about grey

not covering well as it was really thick hair, can someone advise please? Thanks in advance.

Are you stripping the box dye lv.4 on the ends first?....
If you find 20vol/6% is not quite covering stubborn coarse white & 30vol/9% a bit of overkill....you can mix @ 1:1, 20vol+30vol(so equal parts) to result a 25vol/7.5%. This will provide enough kick to penetrate the white & not expose underlying pigment in the natural lv.4 hair. If heat processing set on low for 15mins+5mins cool air to finish.

Thanks for replying, no I'm just lifting the roots as hoping to cut alot of old colour out. Sorry if this is a basic question, i just don't feel confident with colour, would the 9%give me coverage with base in the mixture?
