Grey hair help!!

Fitted hair extensions for an older lady last night, she had short hair (2.5 inches) which I advised her would not blend perfectly but she still wanted them fitted, did the best I could and actually managed to blend them in to look v natural so she seemed happy. She had also asked for two colors (she's naturally grey, dyed platinum blond) so I blended platinum extensions with an ash blond extension mix (which she picked at consultation.). She has called me this morning in a panic about a 'tuft' of hair at the side of her head which has not blended in as well as the rest so I've told her I will fit another couple of extensions to hide it and she has used an at home loreal dye to blend her parting with her extensions which has turned grey!! Her sister is a hairdresser and I told her to call her sister to ask her to dye it but she went ahead and done it herself. She has asked me to fix it (don't know why she's not asking her sis) but know from training years ago how hard grey hair is to cover. Does anyone have any tips on how to cover this grey hair with an ash blond color?? I have a sore head already!! Thanks guys and girls!! X x

if u have grey or white hair which is more than 50% of the hair you are trying to cover, you need to mix more base in with the chosen colour.

So if she wanted to go 10.1, you would mix half 10.1 and half 10. You need the extra base, to ensure the ash wont look faded and kaki
