Hi all,

I’ve not used this website before but was wondering if anyone could give me advice about growing out my hair and what to do about styling it or making it a little straighter.

As you can see it’s not long yet and when it’s wet it looks alright however once it goes dry it poofs up and I hate it. It doesn’t grow straight it grows up rather than down. The dream would to have a small pony tail at some point.

What do I do about this?

I would suggest that you blowdry the hair first with something like tigi bed head small talk and a drop of control freak. Do not mix together, apply separately to avoid curdling. Dry into the desired shape then I'd try a pomade with a fairly strong hold to style and hold down your hair.
If you're really not in to drying your hair first, then you need a heavy, strong hold creme or gel that you can apply to wet hair and comb into the desired shape.

Amazing. I’ll give that a try. I just know people who can grow their hair out in a few months where as I think mine will take a lot longer as I feel it grows up not down.

Thanks
