Hair colour help

I am a level 6 with scattered grey hair. My hairdresser is using Matrix socolor 500 series. She picked 506na. with Matrix 20 volume peroxide. I want more ash and less red. There is no level 5 with ash. The 506na has left my roots lighter than the ends. What do you recommend at next coloring? She left on color for 40 minutes. My hair is in a pixie and is very fine.

Visit another hairdresser who knows what they’re doing? Only very inexperienced hairdressers would leave you with two-tone hair, aka hot roots.
Seriously, I would be most offended if my client tried to tell me how to colour her hair.

I’m having a very similar situation with matrix an getting hot roots I only use 20 vol an go a shade darker not sure what’s going on lately

I've given up with Matrix & only use a few colour sync shades for toning.
