Hi geeks just wanted some advice from the hair dressers I had a strand test done the other day as I wanted to lighten my hair my hairdresser was going to put a base 9 and then something else I can't remember on but once she done the strand test it showed that my hair is still weak and will snap easily now my question in would I still be able to dye my hair if I went darker instead? As I wanted to put extensions in once I have had it dyed but I don't want to put them in if my hair will snap easily still any help please??? Xx

Realistically it's up to your hairdresser to determine wether your hair can take any more chemicals, however lightner does work slightly differently to colour so chances are you'll probably be ok to colour your hair just not lighten it further

Yeah my hairdresser is gonna do another strand test in a couple of months as I have been doing conditioning treatments on my hair it's just my hair at the moment is a horrible ginger/golden colour lol thank you Hun x
