Somebody at my work used my hairdryer on a client without asking my permission to use it(even though there own hairdryer was in the station next to them) and it blew up! And this person has yet apologised or offered to pay something towards the replacement? am I wrong for feeling annoyed she hasnt?

Unless she did something to it then chances are it was simply bad timing that she used it.

Still, if it was me, I'd have apologised profusely (after getting over the shock of it blowing up). Not sure about whether or not she should offer to chip in for the replacement, your electrical equipment is your responsibility so if it's just at the end of it's lifespan she isn't to blame.
