Hello there, I am a complete newbie although I have been a secret lurker on this site for weeks now!
I have just completed a course in hair extensions and have applied a few sets in friends hair. I used hair recommended to me by the training company. The hair Glamorous lengths and I am not at all happy with the quality. I can only be thankful for the fact that I only charged my friends for the price of the hair. There is a shop opened in my town this week who are offering a full head of pre bonded extra thick for £160!
I don't see how this can be possible, unless they are making no money and using cheap hair, but i may be speaking out of turn saying that?
I really am very new to this so please can anyone help me with where to get good quality hair extensions and what i should be looking for. The course told me Indian however I have also been told that European is actually better? I know Russian is the best but I'm not sure my clients will stretch to that. I live in a very small town and I will have to try and keep costs down as much as possible, but i refuse to damage a (hopefully) good reputation by supplying cheap hair just to beat the new shop. I hope my clients will come back to me!
