Im having the hardest time blending in my extensions now that my hair is short and has layers. The underneath part of my hair is brown so I have brown extensions for that reason, but now it just looks super choppy with the layers. My brown extensions are 22 inch... I was thinking I should also get 18 inch ones to add more layers and maybe then it will look more natural? I don't know if I should get the 18 inch blonde or brown though? Any hair dressers out there, I need your advice! Please Help!

Its because they're brown, think about it, if your hair was this length, most of that length would be blonde! You'd only have a small amount of brown showing. Not to mention they look far too thin. You need to get some blonde extensions its looking like a reverse ombre. Are they clip ins? And how high is your highest extension? Looks like theres way too much of your hair over them

Thank you so much for replying. :) That's the thing Ive tried putting them at different heights and it still comes out the same. My hair is super thick so I think that could be why my extensions look so thin compared to my natural hair. (Another reason why I want to get another set of extensions - to add more volume). Yes they are clip ins. So you think I should go with 18 inch blonde extensions to even it out?

Side note: my hair was always super long and I never had a problem blending my extensions in for that reason so having short hair is new to me.

Your hair looks very blonde on the top layers and that's the main part that people see, you definitely need some blonde extensions...
