Hi everyone. im a long time lurker and you all seem so lovely and knowledgable so thought i would ask advice.
I qualified in hair extensions back in february in 6 systems and have since practiced mainly microbonds and shrinkies. Ive had quite a few client now and i do think, not being big headed, that i am good at what i do. i enjoy it and care about it and have a flair for it.
all of my customers have been happy and any thats had problems ive fixed and theyve been happy with my service.
so heres the thing. theres another girl circulating facbook (where i get most of my clients) that,well is pretty much the queen of extensions, like she invented them. she spends more time uploading pics of other extensionists' work saying how awful it is (not mine thank god) but to be honest her own before and after pictures arent exactly amazing.
I guess im most upset because a friend of mine has just posted a pic of herself online with her hair done by this girl. She had asked me the other week if i would do hers, she does all my beauty treatments and ive done lashes and threading for her etc. im not bothered that shes gone to someone else thats her choice but why not mention it? also shes now ignoring me or so it seems so im just upset at the thought that she obviously didnt have a high opinion of me to go to someone else - more expensive aswell. im sorry for moaning its just knocked my confidence a bit :sad:
