Hair extensions in short hair

Hi,

I am a beauty geek but wondered if one of you lovely hair professionals could help me?

I have a short, back and sides (best way to describe it) with longer hair on top (like a long pixie cut really) I am trying desperately to grow my hair but in the meantime is there anyway I would have extensions for length? I literally know nothing about it so would really appreciate any help.

How long is your shortest bit? If its long enough to attach extensions and the top layer is longer (enough to hide bonds) then you may be able to have extensions but in my opinion to make them look natural you won't be able to have them really long as they just won't blend and you don't want a really visible step. Best thing to do is get in touch with some local extensionists and ask if they have done something similar. Xx

Thank you Tawnsta, I only really want a bob (similar to Jennifer Lawrence) but I wasn't to sure if bonds or a weave would be better. There are so many extensionists near me but I only ever see photos of long hair x

Could you post a picture of your hair may get more help try get one from the side and the back xx

I would say it's probably 2 short for a weft and rings x

Yes a picture would be helpful. Id always suggest individuals in short hair rather than a weft. It sits more naturally, a bob in theory should be achievable and blend naturally obviously this is based on what you've told us rather than seeing your hair. Where are you from? You might get a local extensionist on here x

Wow! That's amazing, what a transformation. My hair is very similar but shorter at the bottom.

Are there any extensionists around the Bolton area that could help?
