Hair extensions or pieces short hair

My mum is abit of a moaner when it comes to her hair it's short fine and kinks and doesn't do want she wants it to. It's in a short bob length. I seen on the this morning programme a clip in human hair peice which looked fab as it was a similar style to my mums. Can't seem to find them? Googled but not much luck. Any ideas to those who deal with extensions? I've also thought about trying to get hold of some short tape ins to see if a few can give her abit of volume and tame it abit. Is there such thing as short extensions possibly 6 inches

you could also look at normal clip ins and have them cut to blend in if their too long

I believe it was a beautyworks volume boost / volume deluxe used on This Morning, they're human hair but you can also but 3/4 or 1/2 wigs in synthetic hair if you want to try them without the investment of human hair prices x
