Hello,
I'd be very grateful for any advice on brands of hair extensions. I've been using extensions for over five years and intially was going to salons to get Cinderella, Balmain etc. in bonds but I was really unhappy with the bonds and the hair was so expensive. I also found that the salon brands do not do even close to my hair colour (my hair is rich auburn, no. 30).
I found a hair shop in London that had quite a big selection and found there were a few brands that did my hair colour. I started using wheft and clipping in the hair myself, a method that I am much happier with.
After trying a few £40 packs of hair I finally came accross Siensationnel Remi Goddess which had an idential colour match and which I have been very happy with for almost two years, but the last three times I've purchased the hair it has matted and been unwareable after only one week. I've given the benefit of the doubt that it might have been a 'bad batch' and I also purchased from different shops to ensure it wasn't just the shop I bought it from, but I believe that the quality of the hair has just gone downhill. It's very frustrating as I wear two packs at a time (my hair is qutie thick) so it costs me £180 (£90 for 18" pack of wheft) each time I purchase the hair and the quality is so bad after only a few days.
I'd really appreciate any advise on hair brands that have a good colour selection (mine is rich auburn, no. 30) and that has quality hair that will last a few weeks. I have heard that there are better types of hair than remi, but I really have no knowledge of the different types or which brands in particular are better. I also don't really want to spend more than I'm spending now but am willing to pay a bit more for better quality.
Any information would be great.
Many thanks,
Cat
