Hi ladies,

I'm looking at booking a hair extension course (all methods) do you have an recommendations also what kind of prices are you charging and are you making a good profit or is this something you would do as well as a full time job? Sorry for the questions just need a bit of guidance with this

Xxxxx

Are you already involved in hairdressing? If not it can be quite a steep learning curve and the course I went on - Oakley - was good but a day is no where near enough.
I found another extensionist who had been doing it for 5 years and had extra tuition.
I learnt because I was curious rather than with the aim of a full time job but I do it some evenings and if I have a child I may increase that if possible!
Good luck x

I would personally start off doing extensions on the side, im not a qualified hairdresser and started extensions earlier in the year but still work full time, its only just really starting to pick up but there is money to be made, im in london and the average is £130-150 profit per customer xx

hiya is that profit what you charge after your first instalment thanks new to extension

At first I did 5 girls for free (all they paid for was the hair) as i trained in five methods i wanted to practice them all,
then after that I was until recently charging between £50-£70 profit per customer but now its about £65-£100 depending on the amount of time it takes me, so nanos are £100 profit because they take me a good 3.5 hours to do!

hope this helps xx

Yes I understand that Now thankyou and if they don't pay for their hair themselves is that whats added on the first service as well as profit thankyou

There is soo much to learn.

It really does depend on your customers in your area because there’s so many different suppliers who offer different things and prices.

Take time in researching the best companies and try them on yourself first! Never not try them before giving them to customers.

Prices will reflect on your time and what hair you’re using.

Xx
