Hi to you all,
Would be grateful if you could advise me, my daughter paid roughly £150 for hair extensions, shes been a quite a bit of pain because there were put in quite tight, some have fallen out or matted and now shes bald in places, havent had a chance to get to the shop with her due to work but i will believe me. my daughter has done her best to look after them but nothing has helped them get in the state their in...help :(

are these bonded ones or a weave? If theyre bonded she needs to cut her loses, lose the money and remove them. If you can get her back to the salon do it, as theyll do t professionally and you shouldnt leave without getting the money back or a very good compensation. If you really really cant get there, go to Sallys and buy a big bottle of acetone, put it on a cotton pad and hold on each bond until it slips out x

I am only due to start my training soon but from what I have researched already, losing her hair could be due to traction alopecia through the extensions being placed too close to the scalp.

Was it a salon she went to or a mobile/home based extensionist? Did she see certificates of insurance and qualification before she had the treatment done? Also, did they fill out a client consultation card with her prior to fitting the extensions? xx
