From my experience. Over the past 3 years I've tried so many things to boost my hair growth because I lost half my thickness. Store bought supplements don't really work for me but I found that when I did yoga when I was abit younger my hair grew 6 inches in 6 months. I think it might be because I spent so much time upside down and the blood flow to my scalp increased. Eating lots of green vegetables and red meat helps too. Your iron level needs to be at 70 for your hair to grow normal. Be sure to get blood tests so your gp can prescribe you something that can boost whatever your body has an insufficient amount of x good luck

Normal average hair growth is 1/4 inch (ish) a month, some go faster, some slower, I have client who's hair grows so fast she's a perfect model for me to try new stuff on, I'm sure it grows while I'm cutting it

Drink plenty of water, regular trims, healthy eating. Good conditioning, virgin coconut oil is great for a natural hair nourishment.
