Hair has darkened after stripping

Hiya,

I do hair extensions but not colour. I went to a salon and got my hair stripped from a very dark brown, and it went a lovely auburn colour. It's been 3 days and my hair is getting darker and darker it's Slightly lighter than before I went in the salon.

What the hell has happened? I haven't had it coloured as I'm due to have that done next week a rich copper colour. Has this happened on purpose? Or will I need it stripped again which I begrudge paying for as I paid a fortune for the first one!

I've never stripped before using a stripper if that's what was used? But I read on one of the threads something similar and they said it wasn't rinsed off properly. One of the pro geeks will be able to help you tho hopefully! X

But I would also go back to where you had it done as the service you asked for obviously hasn't happened! X

Oh dear. Sounds like your hairdresser didn't follow the instructions properly and the remaining colour molecules are re-oxidising and going dark. You need to get it sorted quickly otherwise it will continue to darken.

Sounds like she may not have used an anti oxi shampoo! Go back ASAP!

Definitely go back before your next appointment. That isant right and you don't wanna be paying out more for their wrong doing x
