Hey all
Basically to cut a long story short I had White bleached hair, went to a light ash brown, loved it.. Then it faded so had it redone but they put too much gold init n it had a reddy Ginger tone to it which I hated so I rang n complained n they fixed it by putting more ash init which looked a lot better.

Anyway that faded so went to have it redone n I said I don't want no reddy tone like before just a normal brown but now I'm home it looks like it's got a grey tone to it?? :(

I dunno what to do coz I complained before and now I'm not happy again, I just want a normal brown!! :(

Any advice??

You asked for ash and it sound like you got ash, sorry to say.
Id be inclined to put a natural over the top.
That might be your happy medium.

normal brown has some warmth to it. either throw on a warm neutral(not so much warmth that you get red brown just enough to take some of the ashy out.) or you could probably get away with a brown color shampoo and use maybe every other time you wash.

I'd have to agree. Personally i'd avoid dying any more to minimize hair damage and opt for a shampoo with a warm brown colour pigment, also the more you wash the more the ash toner will wash out.

Thanks for the replies.

I washed my hair a few times and it turned green. I went back to the salon n they have put more warmth to it but now it still looks greeny in parts :'( I just don't know what to do I'm so upset :'(

Ive found when hair is over bleached putting permanent colour on it means it just fades even quicker because the condition isnt good enough to keep the colour in. I'd be more inclined to use a semi if i was you, it would be better for your hair and be less likely to fade. It would also be a good base for permanent colour when your hair is in better condition. My cousin's hair was white blonde and in very bad condition, permanent red faded in about 2 washes so we stuck a brown semi over and the colour has held much better.

These are Semi's that i've been having, I havent had any permanent!

My hair doesnt seem ashy now as they have put "gold" to it but it still feels a bit greeny in parts and I just dont know what to do, i'm scared to wash it! I dont know if it would make it better or worse. If I wash it and it looks worse i'm just gona have to go back for the second time, i've paid a lot of money and i'm really upset
