Just wondering if any hairdressers would be able to give me any advice on my hair please...
I've noticed over the last year my hair seems to have thinned out to what it used to be, it was quite thick to start with so it wasn't much of a problem but I've noticed these last few months it seems to look quite sparse where my fringe meets the parting. There is still hair there but it is definitely thin in compassion and in some lights you see can a little bit of the scalp through it.
Are there any products that would help to thicken my hair that anyone could recommend please? x

Are you taking any medication? Medication is one of the main causes of hair loss, or have you recently had a baby? X

Thanks for your reply, the only medication I take is the pill which I have taken for a number of years but I changed to a different brand. Do you think that might be causing it? x

Hmm I've never heard hair loss from the pill, it may be one of side affects tho, maybe check with your doctor x

Thanks, I'll make an appointment at the doctors and see what they say :)

I'm not a hairdresser but this happened to me - my hair was thinning so much and breaking off underneath. The hair was so thin around my fringe etc and half the time looked like bald patches.
Do you drink a lot of diet drinks? I used to drink so much Pepsi Max and stopped because everyone was telling me about the side effects and nagging me to quit.
I stopped for a while and my hair has honestly got so much thicker and the 'bald patches' are all a lot fuller, my hairdresser noticed it becoming thicker again as well.

Might be a coincidence for me but worth thinking about :)

Thanks Beauty Tips, I don't really drink any fizzy drinks only on the odd occasion and I do try and eat fairly healthy so I can't work out what's causing it. I'm pleased you've managed to get your hair sorted :)

Oh worth a shot :)
Hope it works out for you too!
