I coloured a girls hair last week using 2/8, I've seen her today and it still looks really dark and glossy but were her hair has been blue/black the blue has faded to an ashy almost grey tone, it's only really noticable when the light hits it, but I can understand why she's not happy with it.

She said she likes the darkness of her hair but instead of the /8 she would like a red or purple or chesnut tone to her hair. She's coming in tomorrow.

Any ideas what I can do?

Thanx

u need to put the warmth back in to it keep the base dark like a 3 and then dependingon the typeof grey if its more blue or purple grey either use a goldenor red tone, ur colour chart should help u if u look on the clour wheelxx:lol:

Thanx for ur reply.
Its a blue ash, I know if a .3 will kill the ash colour, but I'm not wantin a neutral tone, she's wantin preferably a red or chesnut but to keep her base 2.
