Just a quick question guys!

Would you say its a good idea to have a tattoo/piercing studio joined with a hairdressers? Joint as one business on the same premises?

xxx

I'd prefer to go Elsewhere, but there are many people out there who would love this idea xoxo

Personally I wouldn't like it. If I was being pierced or tattooed, I wouldn't want the risk of stray hairs getting into anything!
But that's me. Like Tomme said, some people might like it.

have seen this before it was a different room for tattoos, infact i think it was a barbers, personally i wouldnt go

Ask baggybear her opinion, I'm quite a queeny gay, so I like my hair salons as hair and beauty if mixed, maybe even with a cupcake shop next door.

It might be a better option having 2 separate shops, with a interconnecting door, that way it's still as sterile in both places, but you can share facilities like staff room, staff toilets, laundry, and share the bills for this xoxo

i love the idea, and would love to do something similar eventally but i think they would have to be seperate shops next doors or properly seperated inside as for the stray hairs thing!! i think its a good combination though :)

Quality!! Night chuck! :D Enjoy.

There's a place in hove that does beauty, hair and tattooing. It's called the usual suspects.

My best friend has one and is doing well. The hair salon is at the front and tattoo is at the back, separate rooms.

Wooah thanks for all the feedback! In regard to everything being sterile, I was thinking hair on the bottom floor, tattooing on the second? That way it would be seperate, I do understand some people wouldnt like the idea...but im sure quite a few would!

+hair and cupcakes sounds like heaven!!

xxxx

I personally wouldnt like the idea of being tattooed anywhere near a hairdressers. The disinfecting standards have to be so high and hair does manage to get everywhere, its just not sanitary. They are two separate industries, but yes two separate buildings would be better.

I do quite like how clean the hair salon would be to stop spread of hair. There are vacuums that can be fitted in skirting boards at floor level, maybe these being on constantly while the hair salon was open could sort out the spread of hair (use the dryer to blow it towards the inlet) so less cleaning and hopefully more sterility for the tattoo's but it would have to be obviously OCD clean for customers to trust the tattoo studio.

Oh, and te cupcake thing, I only just noticed today, there is a cafe cake shop by me that you have to pass through to go upstairs tithe hair salon. Win!! Xoxo
