Hi hair geeks,

Can people please recommend a decent hairdryer for daily salon use please?

Thank you :)

i love the parlux 3200 :):)

I love my tigi pro one but parlux are fab too xx

i use the parlux 2600 , i find anything more powerful and you start burning peoples hair and their heads ...:green:

Also for the parlux range you can get a silencer, never used one though so dont know how well it works :/

Parlux 3200 light weight for ya wrists :) I struggle in winter with RSI so this helps massively

Parlux is my favourite

definately parlux 3200!! there fab :)

hello
can you tell me more about the silencers for the parlux 3200?
where do I get one?
thanks:green:

I had a 3200 for 4 years. When that one broke I got the new 3800, much more powerful and a lot lighter on your wrist. Apparently they save on electricity as well (bonus!) When my other ones blow up I'll be swapping to all 3800s. The silencer comes free when you buy two from Salon Supplies. I think they are about £18. Never used one tho!x

Ive just bought a Parlux 3200 in chocolate spice/brown
They are excellent.

Hi just to say thanks for the info on the silencer for parlux hairdryers
bought one today and looking forward to trying it out tomorrow.
I do sooo many big bouncy blowdrys that Its around 40 mins to get
curls and as you all know talking over, for that length of time is draining.
will let you know how it works
:green:

Thank you for the replies on hairdryer recommendations :) think it looks like I shall definitely have to invest in a parlux :) xx

Love your posts abstyle! You posts are what I need!

Iv had my parlux 3200 for 7 years and still not 1 problem xoxo

Lol, great aren't they. Don't be overly careful too, mines been on the outside edge of suitcases going abroad stood on, dropped a million times and now has a few scuffs where the nozzle goes from being put on and off so much. They should be priced a lot higher in my mind as the quality dosent show in te cost xoxo

Great to hear such good feedback about it :) .. Yes It is great and I love it too :) .. Do you have a silencer on yours? I'm thinking about getting one, but would like to hear people's thoughts on them first really? Xx

Lol to be fair when I got it I don't think there was such a thing, but no, I don't see much problem without one, for it's power I find it quite quiet. Xoxo

Ah, maybe it's my hearing then! I just feel as though when I'm blowdrying, I do a lot of 'smile and nod' or turn the dryer off to hear my client! .. X
