hi ladies, im using halo gel polish and having some problems with air bubbles appearing a day or two after, has anyone else had this? Im using a 48w lamp and curing for 30secs each coat?!?
Can anyone advise, thanks x

I don't know the brand, but just had a quick google look at Halo Gel polish and its guidelines for application and curing. It says in their guidelines to cure for 120 seconds in 36w UV lamp or 60sec in a 12w LED lamp. So possibly your curing time of 30 seconds is on the low side. Did Halo gel advise you on the 30 sec curing time? :)

If correctly cured the product should be hard and it would be impossible for bubbles to occur in a solid. If it's changing after curing then its not cured properly. 7th-Heaven has given you great advice.

I use halo and it needs 60 seconds curing time x

We had this issue in the beginning of using Halo - more so on natural Nails than over enhancements. We found some colours you have to work super thin with, probably thinner than the usual thin coats you use with other brands.

Sometimes we would double cure to be on the safe side - and checking clients are holding their hands in the lamp correctly. We started doing thumbs separately too and since all this we’ve had no issues
