Halo hair

New to this but would like to post a warning to others, have just purchased some Halo hair, pre bonded, 4 packs costing just under £200.. Rave reviews on their website so I thought must be good!!
Arrived and duly took them to my fully trained certified fitter, we opened the packets and were horrified, so thin and tapered really badly from around half way down .. And moulting so much. I was shocked as was she, have had cheaper hair before that was so much better quality.
She has refused to put them in they were that bad!
Ring Halo who have said no refund as you opened the pack.. How else am I going to see them!!!
Am in the middle of dispute as paid by PayPal .. Surely this can't be right, it's appalling hair, hoping to be able to refund for full refund but they are being downright rude and obnoxious !!
Has anybody else had problems with Halo?
From a disgruntled unhappy £200 poorer lady!!

That's absolutely awful! I would have thought halo would be lovley? I just went on the website to look at the returns policy, it does say if they've been taken out of the packaging they can't be returned, I hate when companies do this, the other day my colleague bout a pack of hair under the understanding it was "real" we took it out of the pack and saw that it wasn't and they wouldn't accept it back even though they miss sold it, try ringing trading standards see if they can give you any advice, I've lost lots of money through buying extensions which wernt all they were supposed to be, now I use a company called transform it's local to where I live always reliable hair from there x

My sister has ordered from halo and had the same, poor quality - she's salon based and sent them back for a refund x

I'm cross with myself !! It's a lot of money to lose,, probably end up having to have them in and have a few inches cut off the straggly last few inches .. Which really defeats the purpose!
Learnt my lesson the hard way unfortunately 😞

I wouldn't worry. If you've bought something that isn't fit for purpose, they have to refund you in full as required under the Sales of Goods Act.

Trying to worm out of their obligations by posting a daft disclaimer won't cut it with a court.

If you don't get anywhere with PayPal, contact your local Citizens Advice and get their help to draft a letter to the company requesting a refund.

I've received an order from halo and the colours are terrible! Sent them back today at my own cost! And emailed to say how bad they are only to be told I am
Rude and they are closing my account!! Terrible company! Very unhappy! X
