Has anybody recently completed a VTCT manicure/pedicure course?

Can any one help please I failed paper 2 on the vtct nail technician exam today for pedicure and am looking for a mock exam to practice as was asking questions that i can't find in my book. Has anybody or does anybody know where i can get this information please

I am qualified in this course hun but I doubt you will find a mock paper. The tutors should’ve given you some help. Do you know what areas you went wrong in and what txt book do you have for the course. I’ll steer you in the right direction if I can x

It was paper 2 and the cross section of the skin was different to the one provided for the manicure (was given same for pedicure). They did give revision notes and I would say 70% of that was covered in paper 1 and I passed that. It was asking all about things with long words. I have the Linsdey anderson/alice avenell/lisa kniveton level 2 nails 2011 edition

Unfortunately VTCT don't allow their past papers to be used as mock papers. It's all kept secure by the exams department of the training provider.
Your tutor is the best person to talk to as at least they will have seen the question and answer documents.

Yeah I dont want to ask them as feel a bit uncomfortable. Ive messaged the girls in my group. I sat there last night for 4 hours trying to find somewhere in my book and the test revision they sent me the answers to the questions on paper 2, I must be being really thick as cannot find it anywhere

Vtct sometimes have some weird answers (which we as lecturers didn't agree with) but there is no reasoning with them!

Hi yes they were. The skin diagram i got was different to the one they asked about and the other questions id never heard off and looking through my book cant see anything like them. Oh im so confused

Hi hun

So I remember the skin diagram looking different to the one in the book, but all the components are the same, the three layers, nerve, cappileries etc are all in there, it’s just drawn differently. I can’t remember what questions were in the paper but I do remember seeing a couple that were guess work. Your tutors really are the people to help you as they will know what areas you went wrong and should be able to offer support. Where are you doing your course? X
