Has anyone spray tanned themselves with their spray tan gun?

Hello everyone Has anyone ever tried spray tanning themself with there spray tan gun? Eg. TS10 / Maximist HVLP ..Im soon starting up a small spray tan business but just for friends and family due to my love of tanning!! However i just wanted to know if its possible to spray yourself or any parts of your body? Eg. Only legs or Only arms. I understand the guns are quite big so may be difficult compared to the spray tans in a can.. But has anyone actually ever tried to do this and recieved good / bad results? Id love to hear your experiences and all advice is welcome. Thankyou have a great day xxxx.

Hi, I have. Ive got the the Maximist HVLP 5008 machine. I found it ok for legs and arms, but the face, chest and shoulders are a bit tricky to do so get my boyfriend to do it for me! I just use a mitt if its a bit patchy while its still wet to blend. It actually turns out ok, but its not the best as the gun is quite big and its difficult to get the distance correct, it is for me anyway, but it is possible hth x

Thanks so much for your reply and yes i did think it would be quite difficult but i'll definately give it a go then!! And lol! im sure my boyfriend will want to have a go so might have to train him to do my tans for me!! thankyou for the info xxx

lmao!! such a good idea! the only thing my boyfriends ever sprayed is the paint onto the fence, so hoping all goes well haha!! xx

LOL, my hubby has only tanned me twice, once ages ago and his family made me promise i'd never let him do it again and then last week, which he actually did a good job albeit he pretended I was a fence!

I find it really easy to tan myself aslong as i have a mirror infront or my tent so if theres any bits needing patched i can spot them right away. the only bits i have to get mybf to do is my back and backs of the legs which is just really straight lines so he can't go wrong. Well I thought he couldn't but hes a man what did i expect haha xx

i tan myself all the time. Sticky feet on, hair up-Bingo. Lots of twisting but its easy peasey! I put my gloves on though so not to have too much on my hands and then go over my hands lastly. My fiance has tanned my twice and made a real mess both times so find it better to do myself! For my back i bend forward-arm over my head and do my back The things us girls do!! x
