HD Brow client not happy!

Yesterday I had a HD Brow client who came in - she has a pigmentation problem and her right brow is normally white, so she told me she dyed them every day and dyed them black. I told her not too and use palette make up and dye them only once a week if that.

Anyway I started doing her brows, one was much thicker and coarser hair than the white haired brow and . I did my usual tint, wax, thread, tweeze, then trimmed the coarser haired brow due to it being very long - as with all new clients I tell and show them what I am doing and why.

I showed her the shaped brows before I applied any make up and she was happy with the way I have made them look equal just with tint and shaping them etc.
I then proceeded to use the palette and again as I am applying it tell her where I start and finish, then handed her a mirror to look.....She was happy, she looked in a bigger mirror and was pleased with them. Off she went.

Today she has posted on my facebook page wall she is not very happy as after washing the palette off she has a gap where I cut the brow hair This was not seen by myself yesterday nor by the client as I showed her before putting any make up on and after I had trimmed them

I've replied with the following comment

Hi sinead. We're you cut my eyebrow hair there is a gab now the make up has rubbed off, feel like crying, do u know how long this will take to grow bag?

Do you think this is more than reasonable ? My 19 year old daughter was also present whilst I did her brows and she watched every step and also has said no gap was present after I trimmed the thicker/longer brow. I even showed her how we trimmed the brow hair as to not take too much off.

I feel bad now the comment is on my wall but I am not going to delete it as I have done nothing wrong, she should have sent me a txt message or private inbox instead of making me look like I have chopped her brow hairs off and made a gap

Hope my other clients and new clients dont think I am crap now......My daughter who was visiting me said she was more than happy with everything yesterday and even commented last night she was happy with my service :Scared:

Dont know what else to offer her.....

what is wrong with people? i really don't understand why people think it is acceptable to write negative comments on peoples facebook pages for everyone to see, i could understand had she private messaged you and you'd been rude or unhelpful but seriously?? i was on a clothing facebook page today and someone had written a comment saying 'i ordered from you a week ago and my parcel has not arrived, you have stolen my money!' it turned out she had been out when they tried to deliver it and she hadn't seen the card, but that can give a company such a bad name. trust in yourself, if you are saying you know that you didn't make a gap then believe in your work and don't back down, i think your reply was very professional, i think overing her to come into the salon to apply makeup was a lovely gesture :hug:

I think that is extremely rude and very unprofessional on her behalf!! She should not have commented over Facebook, very immature! I have been in business over 5 years and had one or two things like this happen to me. I wouldn't worry and you have done the right thing offering her to come back in xx

Grr. This sudden complain about everything on Facebook really annoys me. It's just done to get attention. Total nonsense.

She sounds like a moron. Just stand your ground. I think you've handled it well so far.

Ask her to come in and show you what she means.

Thanks girls - my fiancé can see this as upset me today but even he said ignore her, their was no need to comment on your facebook when she has your mobile number and could have called you up.

She still hasnt replied and I doubt she will do. She was recommended by a girl who's brows I do, so this was her first time with me and she kept saying she was scared, but was due to get them waxed that day. Whoever waxed her previous was waxing more and more off....her brows were very skinny.

My offer to her still stands, she is more than welcome to come back, I will show her how to apply the palette make up which I feel will be easier for her than pencil.

I am now going to make a point of taking before, during and after photos. Wouldnt mind but I kept showing her what I was doing and had done because she had never had HD Brows done before and I wanted to make sure she was happy - she left with a huge smile on her face and said she loved them....she commented on my facebook last night saying I was very helpful and professional....I'll wait and see if she replies xxx

I'm not in a position to offer any advice as I'm not HD brows trained but I get mine done every four weeks and have done for almost a year and I love them.

I use the vamp palette and after I have cleansed I am left with a little bald bit directly above the inner corner of my eye but I know this has been caused by years of over plucking, I definately wouldn't blame my HD brow stylist for this.

If she takes up your offer could you maybe suggest some grow baby grow to her?

The skinny eyebrows trend have a lot to answer for x

I'd told her about Grow Baby Grow but she wasn't keen on the price, so I wrote down what to look for in Boots or Superdrug, my 19 year old daughter said I gave this client great advice and aftercare and she was more than pleased, even commenting twice on my Facebook page wall. She's still not reply to my offer of checking her brow where she claims I've "cut" to much off and showing her again how to apply the palette make up which she didn't buy as she said she had eyeshadow the same colour *rollseyes* I wouldn't mind but I've an offer on HDBrows at the moment and I gave her a free lip wax as she was paranoid about hair growth but had never been waxed due to someone telling her that the hair would grow back thick and black!

Oh eyeshadow, what a marvelous idea, not.
I hope you can resolve this, imo I think this lady is just trying it on. If she was happy when she left then I think you did all you can do. You showed and explained to her every step of the process, so if she wasn't happy she should have said at the time.

Nightmare client :-( feel sorry for you, especially with her writing on your Facebook, I have no real suggestions as you have already offered for her to come in to you, I would take photos from now on but what a sad thing that you feel you have to for a brow shaping treatment, horrible woman xx
