Headlice out break at our local school and thankfully none of my junior customers have come in to the shop with them I'm looking for advice from natural repellents/removers to shop bought repellents/removers, I've covered every nit repellent/remover that I know of but if anyone has a magic cure please let me know. The school is doing nothing and as the only barber in the village I feel it's my duty to sort this out the best I can. Tia

No magic cures.
Smother with conditioner and comb thoroughly every night for a week to 10 days to get rid of the eggs.
Problem is, you’ll find one family ignoring the problem and re-infestation for the other children in the class becomes the norm.
Schools need to speak directly to the parents of the children infected and possibly excluded them until the infestation has cleared up rather than send out generic emails to the whole class/school that then get ignored.

I agree with Haircutz but schools are not allowed to exclude as it’s not the child’s fault! I always suggest to parent that they treat the child and anyone else in the family and then they can return. The Nitty Gritty comb is great. Think it’s about a tenner but well worth it as it gets everything out of the hair including tiny eggs

Apparently the school is not allowed to contact the parents unless the teacher actually sees the headlice and by that point it's through the class again, its definetly a case of parents not treating their child but it's tracking down the parent thanks again xx
