My crown keeps getting this greasy, waxy, sticky patch no matter how often I wash it! I've been going nuts as I thought it was just me, so I'm relieved to find others on different sites have had the same problem, now I just hope someone can help please!

Mine has been going on for about 3 months. I thought it was shampoo residue but i tried different ones and it's still there.

I used dry shampoo which made it bearable but didn't completey clear it. In fact the only time it lifted was when I coloured my hair but it was back a week later- so annoying! One thing though- I am really bad for putting it up wet so maybe that's a contributing factor?

I'm going to try Palmolive on it tomorrow and I'll let you know how I get on. If anyone can suggest a cure I will love you forevermore!

Well I tried the Palmolive hand wash on the crown and left it for 10 minutes, washed my hair with T-Gel and left it in 5 minutes then washed with h&s and blow dried my hair.... Ta Da! It worked! So delighted as this problem was really getting me down and so relieved I found something that works! :green: :D

Please try a tea tree shampoo, conditioner this helps regulates oil production on the scalp x

Thanks for that BlueRinse. I have Psoriasis so have to be careful what I use. I have just ordered a tea tree shampoo so I'll try that in future! ;) (Although I'm hoping it won't come back!)
