i used 1/2 10 + .11 Loreal Marijel on my client and it’s soo ashy! What should I used to kill the ash could I use dia 9.3??

Did you use it as a colour or a toner? I wouldn’t put gold on it or it’ll go green

I used it as a colour just on the roots, thought I shouldn’t used highlift, it’s just too ashy. Do you think I could use highlift tint over the top?

Why a highlift tint?

That what I should have done so was thinking in pull the ash out?? I’m not really sure what to do?

What was the starting base and what peroxide did you use?

The base was 7/8 and used 20vol

How long have you been hairdressing for?
Are you still training as I’m struggling to work out why you chose to use 20vol with a highlift on a level 7?

You could try shampooing with a small amount of bleach but no developer to remove excess tone.

No I’m not still training and I didn’t use a high lift with 20vol! I used 20vol with 1/2 10 + 1/2 .11 and her base was between a 7/8

Try a cleansing shampoo, if that doesn't work try water and bleach that's usual enough to remove tone

To be fair 20 is recommeded for loreal high lift on a base 7-8 (i know you used normal majirel) but the .11 is not a mixtone, you should use blue or violet mixtone instead.

Honestly the ash will fade quickly with washing. You could apply sunkissed lightening oil + 20 vol to the roots to lift it a touch
