Hi,

Can any hairdressers offer some advice on a bad hair dye job :( My hair this morning before going into a salon was a light blonde all over, high lift lint not bleach as my hair is too weak for bleach. I asked for low lights scattered. The colourist put a lot of foils with what I believe is a 7 semi permanent dye and also used a colour ball toner to ashen my hair. The colour is so dark and looks almost green . I've got home and can't stop crying as it is awful. Is there anything I can do to lighten it or remove the dye?

I can't use bleach so am I stuck with this colour? :( Would another hair dresser be able to 'undo' this?

Thanks x

It's gone green because of the flat 7 on the blonde. Yes can be corrected but will be colour correction. Or would be in our salon. You could go back to where you had it done, but probably won't trust them. (Although I would defiantly complain). Or book at another salon :( hope you sort it.

Without pictures it's hard to tell, but most salons offer free consultations, so pop into one with a good reputation and get some advice, I'm sure it can be easily sorted :) xxx

A good few washes will lift up the toner.

Thank you for your fast replies, feel better knowing that something can be done - I'm going to book in for a colour correction tomorrow (somewhere else!) x

Wash it a few times and will be almost gone. Save Money paying for colour correction. Show them and complain first tho!! Xxx

Will all depend on how quickly you want to get rid of the green I suppose.
