hi geeks
Really need some advice!
I have a client coming tomorrow for a set of my nails.
She has got acrylics on already that have been done by a discount salon and I know how hard these can be to get off!
I really do not want to turn the client away but I do not normally offer a soak off option if the nails have been done in a discount salon!!

Can anybody recommend the best (and quickest) way to remove a set of these successfully??

Thanks

Why not just rebalance them? Why do they need to be taken off? :)

I had some that wouldn't come off soaking off, just file them down to blend with the natural nail and gel polish over lay, file them down in length if that's what the client wants, don't cut them.
Best option is to just let them grow out as they can be tough to come off and you don't want to cause damage to the clients natural nail x

Because the client wants a full new set with encapsulated glitter and the set she has on have black tips x

If this was my client I would reduce the existing nails with my efile about 70-80% and then carry on with the design she wants.
I know you said she has black tips so you could file the nails down and sculpt the new free edge or possibly just apply over the top. Glitter should cover it if you file the tips thin enough.
If she insists on a fresh set I would advise that it could take some time... possibly 2 hrs to do the removal and explain the cost factor. If she wanted to proceed then I would then charge accordingly for my time which means for the removal time plus the new set. But make your prices very clear to her.
