Hi guys, can anyone advise on peeling skin? It's only on my nose, fairly thick scaly skin that is constantly peeling like I got sunburn!

It clogs my pores & no exfoliation seems to help, microdermabrasion gives the smoothest result, but it still comes back a few days later. Ive tried from the most gentle of baby wipes & aveno moisturiser all the way to a strong glycolic wash & a retinol cream, but nothing seems to stop it re-occurring most days? Any & all ideas why its happening & how to stop it, would be appreciated.

I would go to the doctors and get it checked out, if it is not being fixed by exfoliation and moisturising it may be something suspect. (I don't want to worry you but I would go to the doctors just to make sure). It could on the other hand be that the skin just needs to be left alone for a few weeks to rebalance itself. The doctor will make a suggestion.

it's been going on for over a year, someone told me it could be that i didn't drink enough fluids, but why would it only affect my nose? My doctore was pretty disinterested in it, told me to use E45 or aveno moisturiser

Hi,

I also have this, more in the creases, and mine is caused from psoriasis It also effects my scalp slightly which i have to use professional shampoo to treat.

I use a shampoo once every 7-10 days called Selsun, myself, auntie, mum and grandma all have it and we have tried loads of things but this is the only thing that works.

I can exfoliate for ever and nothing will happen :/

Maybe go see a Dermotologist and try have a professional facial using decent products it could just be down to products you use, the most amazing products on the highstreet don't always cut it. x

Poor you. As has been suggested visit a dermatologist or skincare specialist and get them to help you.
