Hello everyone, just writing to get some help really. I am just thinking about going into the nail industry after talking about it for ages, but I have got loads of courses to choose from using loads of different nail systems! I'm a bit baffled by it all!!!!
Can anyone give me some advice please, I'm not sure which systems work best or which courses are best. I've found a course in Birmingham at The Academy that lasts a week and teaches you gel, acrylic, fibreglass and airbrushing, but then I saw a course for Star nails which looked good, then Creative etc. etc. Now I'm confused!!!!!
Thank you in advance for any suggestions!!

Hi Ya, welcome to the site your love it.

In my own opinion the academy is not very good i did a gel course with them and was not very impressed at all they didnt seem bothered with educating you they didnt go through anything and basically just left you to it.

First off all you need to consider training carefully i went with the odd one day courses and cant beleive how much time and money i have wasted on them. If you do a search in the engine above you will find loads of converstaions on training and how to decide.

Good Luck x

Thanks for your help, have just started more searching, but at least I have some ideas from the people in the know now, rather than heading in blindly!!! I can't wait to get going now! Some of your designs are fab, I hope I'll be able to do that one day!

Thanx again, xxx

It is rather baffling as to what to go for, if i were you i would do some research in your area as to what people go for as far as Gel or Acrylic L&P or Fibreglass. Then you can start with the most popular one and go from there. I would also do course in manicures and pedicures as alot of people love their natural nail care.

Good luck, and welcome to the site.:D
