Help please -Refreshers course?!?

Hi there guys,

Please help!

This thread is on behalf of my mum! She qulified as a hairdresser about 30years ago and has not done this for about 20years as had childern (me) and then went into a different career. She still colours and occasionaly cuts for friends and family.
Shes wanting to get back into it, is there any freshers course out there or what is the best way to get back into it?

A few years back I met a couple of ladies on a colour course at Capital hair and beauty that were doing something similar to your mum.. Although they were going mobile .

They both had enrolled on an evening NVQ 2 course at college and as it was their first ever NVQ it was subsidised, (you'd need to check this out with your local college) and took them 12 mths . In addition to this they funded basic colouring and cutting courses Sally's and Capitals and were loving it . They did say how so much had changed in the industry since they practised years ago especially the colour techniques so would not have done it any other way . Matrix offer methodology colour,cutting and colour correction courses in Croydon and Brighton through the two trade centres I've mentioned which might help her.. t
