I moved to Newcastle upon Tyne and I am having trouble finding a Hairdresser that can cut my hair the way I like it. I normally have a short choppy cropped style quite funky but I can't find anyone to cut it like this. It now doesn't look anything like I normally have it because the three different salons I have been to have not cut it the way I want it.
Can anyone recommend a salon that is up to date with modern cuts.
Help please :D

Hi, sorry I don't live near you so can't offer to do your hair but thought I'd make a couple of suggestions to help you get the style you want.

1. How are you choosing a salon/stylist?
If possible, go on personal recommendation. Years ago, I found a great hairdresser by asking the check out girl in Tesco's where she got her hair done, as I thought it looked great.

2. Take some old photo's with you of how your hair used to look and explain to the stylist what you do and don't like about your current style.

3. You really need to be very specific when describing what you're after. Try not to be vague. Stylists are not mind readers, lol.

4. Finally, look at the salon staff and see what styles they are sporting. Choose a salon that reflects your taste and style.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the advice

I have been to what I consider good salons...and by that I mean well established high street names. They just don't cut it the way I want it.

will keep looking though
Cheers:D
