Hey geeks!
My hair has been every 'normal' colour you can imagine I've been trying to get it back to one tone!! The last one was black for around a year! Ive used colour before on two occasions, which only lifts my roots, Doesn't touch the ends!
Is there anything stronger i could use??

I can see you do extensions but are you a hairdresser?

What your asking is simple basic hair knowledge.

You clicked "hair" in your profile. Why are you using an OTC colour stripper?

I suggest you go for a consultation at a hair salon and let them do it properly with professional products - consultations are normally free too, so you can fully discuss what you want to achieve

Edit...whoops sorry girls, I got sidetracked and you beat my to it

I do extensions but Im not a qualified hairdresser hence not knowing the basic knowledge of colour etc Ive been to 2 professional salons about my hair colour who have made my hair look worse than it was, Hence the multi tone! Ive never found a decent hairdresser no matter where i try to go. Id rather do this myself

Well we're not prepared to give you on professional products when you're not a qualified professional and don't know how to use the products properly. It's like a client asking you how they can put their extensions in them self, you just wouldn't tell them. Find a reputable salon and have a consultation. Best advice you'll get on here x

You've been to two hairdresers and are claiming there are no decent hairdressers out there?? What do you think we all are- lawyers?

Sure - I'll just share my years of knowledge with you over the Internet so you can go and fix it yourself, just the way you like it.

( ps ... And a note to all....extensionists and qualified hairdressers are two separate things, doing an extension course doesn't entitle you to start colouring your hair/ clients hair. Just as being a hairdresser doesn't give me the right to fix extensions)

This leads me to believe you frequently colour your hair yourself, fancy a change then attempt to strip it out...on both occasions made a bit of a mess of it :-(

You live in Manchester. I'm sure if you use google you will find 100's of good salons with cracking reviews,
On the other occasions you've coloured your hair and used a weak OTC colour stripper, twice, I feel this is the reasons for the horrible multi tonal shades you're trying to shift.

Please, before you end up picking all your frazzled hair off the floor, find a good salon, I'm sure your friends can recommend one they use :)

I never once claimed to be a Hairdresser or say every salon is the same! The two salon which were recommended messed up my hair! I have tried different hairdressers, Most get scissor happy! I have not found a hairdresser who does what i ask of them weather it be a trim, full cut or colour from childhood! So your comment is not needed or wanted along with the attitude!
