I have been working as a qualified hairdresser for a number of years and have my own salon. About 10 months ago took an intensive nail course with next step nail and beauty.
My problem is my acrylics, they look perfect when they are done but they don't last! i have tried everything from watching youtube clips to changing my products! My acrylics seem to be lifting around the cuticle area even though i have followed all the steps! I did think it was because i wasn't filing the surface of the natural nail enough, as when i have been in the past to one of the chinese nail salons they use a drill and take the nail very thin, but surly that isn't necessary to damage the nails so much to make the acrylic stick. Withing having my acrylics on, within 3 days i can normally pull them off (which i know i shouldn't) but thats how loose and lifted they become! Please help xox

the fact that you can pull them off sounds to me like you're not patting the product on to the nail bed, its your brush control. take us through your prep and let's see if we can help you hunni xx
