Hi hair geeks

I'm hoping I can get some expert opinions on here!!

I'm trying to find a good shampoo and conditioner. My hair is long (not mega long but longer than shoulder length!) very, very naturally straight and very fine. Its naturally dark brown but I do home colour it every few months with one of those foam nice n easy things just in the dark brown (to cover grey bits!). I rarely use a hairdryer, curlers, straighteners on it!

Hair in general is quite dry but the day after washing it my roots, especially at the front seem greasy! My scalp seems a bit dry too. I generally wash it every other day.

I shampoo twice and condition only the ends to make it easier to comb through.

I've tried Wella Professional range, all the usual dove, herbal essences, even head & shoulders when my scalp is really dry and a bit flaky.

I want to get my hair in tip top condition ready for my first hair extensions in a few weeks time!!

Any advice please??

Cost is not an issue as I can get stuff trade price from wholesalers as I am a beauty professional.

Thanks in advance !!

I'm not that keen, my hair still felt dry and knackered and smelt of sun tan lotion thanks to shampoo and conditioner! X

Haha a little bit, bought the shampoos for my mother in law as she love minty products but kept catching her with head and shoulders:grr: so i bought her some but now i keep sneaking them off with me to the shower!

Nope i haven't, is that like a volumising dust? i've used a few, not really keen on them purely because of the feel of it lol

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your responses!! I couldn't really do a search as my question was quite long winded!!

I will certainly try out these Matrix products!! can I get them at Sallys? if not I have an Alan Howard nearby and also a place called M&S Supplies, which is the best to get them from?

Thanks again, Mand x
