hi i'm new ,i have been doing nails for over a year on and off, with kids etc it's hard but i carnot seem to find a make of gel polish i like has anyone used urban graffiti? london ink?i also cannot find a decent acrylic brush ? what products do you buy and where from? pls help

I have recently converted from Gelish over to Ink London and it's the best move I have made for ages. So I wouldn't certainly recommend Ink London for their gels. Acrylic brushes, the NSI royal precision is an amazing brush and lasted me ages. I've also just tried a CJP brushes and theirs are nice to use too xx hope that helps

Heh, I'm only starting out so I don't have much experience at all but have been trying a few different gel polishes to see what I like/ works best for me. I ordered the Mega trial kit from INK London for the iLac and really like it. Easy to apply, super shiny even without top coat, good coverage and the price (£50 inc VAT) was a no brainer for a proper trial set. The full size prep and clean products, plus the inclusion of the fortify gel as well as base/ top coat and two colours of choice was great. The other thing that I really liked was the fact that the removal was much easier and seemed far less of a stress to the natural nail.

I also got a few Candy Coat colours to try and found them really highly pigmented and lovely to apply. Two coats of any of them, even the pastel shades, was more than sufficient. Their colour choice is great and really fun for summer.
Tried Gelish but tbh, I just didn't find it as easy to apply. No doubt I'll try a few more before I settle on which to invest in. Half the fun! Hope this helps:)

There is no way it can do that unless you didn't use the brush cleanser after your salon day and wipe down. Or you were too quick to replace the cap of the Royal precision and got some bristles caught.

I have had mine for 10 years, got a new one for my other salon so have 2 but only use 1 now.

In the beginning however when I trained 15 years ago I was going through brushes very quickly this was due to a bad technique and application , meaning I didn't keep the ball on the tip it was too runny and got entangled in the actual barrel which be a pain to remove. I dipped a brush in acetone just ONCE and the bristles went all funny. Never did it gain.
