Hi, i had ombre through my hair yesterday and I'm wondering what aftercare products you may think I'll need! I'm going to go to salon services this week (qualified in nails). The hairdresser did mention what is best to get and it flew straight over my head. I'm booked in to have it lightened more so it will be getting blonder.

Thank you in advance X

It really depends on your hair type rather than colour.
Why not give your hairdresser a quick call and ask?

Otherwise, stick to sulphate free shampoo as that's less likely to lift your colour out. I like Osmo colour care products which are generally available at most wholesalers.

Does your hairdresser use Olaplex? You could buy some number 3 off her to use at home to improve the strength of your hair between bleaching sessions. I don't think you can buy it from the wholesaler in the UK unless you're a hairdresser?

Don't waste your money on the other products that have 'plex' in the name as they're NOT bond builders and won't repair the bleach/colour damage, despite what the salesperson tells you. Only Olaplex has the patented ingredients.

Thank you for your reply. My hairdresser said about silver shampoo and conditioner. Paul Mitchell. But it was the process more that I've forgot. Also a treatment. Salon services definitely let me buy anything with my trade card and Alan Howard. So was going to call down. Will have a look at opalex. You can see I'm clueless. I normally have dyed red hair. Naturally medium to dark brown
