Help with nail art

Hi I am new to shellac. When you add glitter or add a design on top of shellac paint and cure it with a top coat should it feel bumpy or smooth?

Why would some nails still be sticky once wiped with alcohol?

Any finish with Shellac should be smooth, maybe add another top coat and try glitter coat thinner? After u wipe with shine it should not be sticky x

Does it matter what type of glitter I use? I have nail glitter but not CND?

When you say after you wiped with shine it should not be sticky, have I missed something? After top coat I wipe with alcohol should I use something else?
