Ok so basically my friend asked if I would do her hair today and she said she wanted it orange!! But not bright orange like a copper orange slightly redish.

She had loads and loads of colour in her hair but big roots. I'd say she was about a base 4. So what i did was I bleach bathed the mid length and ends making sure I missed out the roots.
It got to a pinky orange colour (as she had so much red in her hair too) then I washed it off dried it and applied 7/43 colour touch wella. The colour came out great just as she wanted orange!!

The only problem is her roots are still very dark as the quasi didn't lift her natural hair? And she's a base 4 naturally as I said. So should I put a permanent colour on her roots?? Will that lift it? Or shall i bleach her roots and put the same quasi on? I didn't want to put a permeant colour through all her hair because I wanted it to stay in good condition. I've just qualified so sorry if this sounds like a stupid question.

Lol @ that reply. In English? :p

somebody used a translator.

Salon Florida I've been on ur profile and it says u don't do hair? Says u dont do anything?

i dont understand what albino has to do with it ? sorry am confused , lol

lol im still trying to work out that msg above aswel lol

i would have probably when doing the bleach on the ends maybe have did the roots the last 10 mins just to lift the dark out of the roots i know with condition but sometimes u just got to use bleach and as long as ur using low volume peroxide and good scalp bleach condition shouldnt be bad x

Don't no what the albino is all about? Well go back to basics! You lifted out the colour to orange and then you should have dried the hair and put the same desired colour on the roots but with 9% or 12% which would give 2-3 shades of lift depending what you wanted? Quasi should always go on pre bleached hair and for only 10minutes!! Because the hair at this stage is very porous, you should have also put abit of base in and it should be slightly lighter than the shade you wanted because it can grab alot quicker! Quasi does not lift colour it only adds tone!

If her level 4 roots are natural then you don't need to use bleach... You can use a higher volume developer with your color... I find that painting on color is really pretty. Also I think it looks great when the roots are a level or 2 darker than the ends. Hope this helps.

what was that all about????

you will need 9% on her roots to lift from a 4 to a 7, quassi's dont lift they deposite colour, so is fine for mid lengths and ends which have been bleach bathed! x
