PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can you help I had medium cool brown hair and fancied a change I decided i wanted to go RED I went to the hairdressers who bleached my hair to an orange colour, and then applied a red shade which I asked for, I could tell my hair was very dry and had lifted more round the side lengths when my hair had been dried and I was leaving I noticed that the ends were a different colour a dirty orange shade she told me it was like that as red faded very quickly, I left and the next day I called her as I didn't sleep a wink, she told me to go back the next day and when I arrived she admitted it was very orange and a faded colour on the ends so she used a wella pre pigment by painting it on drying it in and then putting the colour straight on top a RED SHADE I think it was a 5. The colur I have now is a medium deep red with orange tones but still on the lengths it is faded and a dirty orange after only 1 wash. She sold me some red toner to use and said use it once a week but the colour difference between the underneath and roots compared to the lengths is unbelievable, I need some advice on what to do please I am desperate I also had it cut in a concaved bob from mid back length and its a ll just too much to bear I don't know whether to persevere with the red and apply the once a week vibrant red toner or how easy will it be to go to a mob brown with highlights please help
Thanks Klur

Red is the hardest to maintain but also hardest to get rid of, what did you sell you? 1 pot of colour to put on or tube if colour and proxide? What's the name of it?

Red is the most difficult to maintain in my opinion, I know this from experience!! What I did when mine was red, was use a semi colour, (crazy colour in fire, la riche directions in pillarbox red) these are a conditioning semi colour, you dont need to add developer/peroxide, just apply them as they come, use them to refresh your colour at home, you could put some into your conditioner and that way you'll get a refreshed colour every time you wash your hair! They do stain your hands though so use gloves!! Xxx
