I recently done a hair extension course and was practicing on my sister, using foxy hair. Tried to do a full head but my sister doesn't have enough hair! Still have over 50 strands to put in but no hair to put it on, and think it needs it to thicken it up a bit. How can I sort this? Cold u put to strands of extension on one section of hair???

Hiya

How many strands have you already put in?? If there is no where left for you to apply more then that should be enough in your sisters hair....everyone is different, one person may have really thick hair and you could need up to 200 pre tipped pieces or thin hair 120.

Although if you feel it needs more you may have been taking too much natural hair in each bond??

Which method are you using?

:)

Hey!

It seems that you cant fit any more extensions on your sisters head because they will start showing if you go any higher, the best way to solve this is to leave smaller gaps between each row going up the head so you can compress more onto the head without them showing and without damaging the hair.

Everyones heads different, some people have smaller heads that cant fit many and some people have really thin/fine hair so they'll start showing if you out on too many. Its not advisable to put two extensions on one piece of hair because it may weigh down and break the clients hair.

Hope ths helps:) xx

Surely if you had done an extensions course, you would know what to do, and know not to put two bonds on one strand of hair.

I recently did a full head with Foxy and I didn't feel it was thick enough, I then ordered another pack of 20" and put those in and cut about 4" off. In future with Foxy I will only use 20" as the last few inches are very wispy I've found. Apart from that it does seem good for clients on a budget.

Maybe that's the problem you have?
