I asked for info on infills, a Step by Step guide and someone kindly replied.

OK - well I use Bio Sculpture gel and for a standard infill with white tips and clear gel(with no repairs) (as in white is still in correct place - not much growth) these are the steps I take:-

1. Sanitise and remove top coat
3. File down length if necessary and lightly buff off all shine, reaching to edge of growth at cuticle making sure there are no ridges.
2. Remove excess cuticle with cuticle remover (as in original prep)
3. Apply sterilizer to entire nail plate to make totally clean
4. Apply thin layer of clear gel - making sure edges are sealed - then cure
5. Apply second layer of clear gel and then wipe away sticky layer with sterlizer
6. Top coat and cuticle oil to finish

Do they mean buff with a buffer or file???? Sadly they went off-line and i could not get further details. Can anone help or give me thier version

Regards

Lisa

Any other ideas?????

Hi

Make sure that you buff down the gel quite thinly so that your infill doesn't make the end result too thick. I use a fine sanding block for this job.
Your routine is more or less the same as mine, except why are you using oil? There is no need to use oil with Bio Sculpture, I use their own cuticle cream and hand cream to finish the treatment. Most will buy one or the other as it smells good enough to eat!
