Do some research in your area to what others charge, fom other mobile nail techs to salons and try to be in the middle. Just because you're mobile doesn't mean you have to be the cheapest. You have the added hassle of setting up and packing away, petrol, insurance and travelling a certain distance all the time. Make sure you give a max distance or you will find you're out of pocket if someone wants a quick nail repair for about £3.50 and they live 6 miles away.

Also make sure you have a decent table to work on. I didn't at first and most people won't have the ideal table if anything for you to work on. You will then find you have terrible back ache and stiff shoulders etc after every service, not good. I speak from experience believe me. I got my table from Ikea for £30, its long and narrow and the legs unscrew so easy to transport and very light. Its called "LACK" weird name, but i find its great for nails.

Hope this helps.

I would not be without my lamp and extension lead, there is never enough light and never a socket in easy reach! I work about an 8 mile radius and i have a minimum call out charge so i dont have to travel for £3 nail repair. I got my table from a local camping shop and the legs come off and store underneath so its nice and flat for transporting. I do rely on the customers for chairs though.....so far everyones had some but i suppose the day will come......lol
