Help! Im looking for a top coat or something to protect my polish from scrubfresh as i work! Iv heard about faze2 but this has to be applied next day,I would also like to use it on my clients to prolong the life of their polish, nail art and manicures so asking them to return next day wouldnt work! Does anyone know of a product that could help me? Ti x

Hi Tina, tried to PM you but your box is full again, i did an experiment, applied polish then thermoshield by NSI, put it under a light bulb for 3 mins, put some scrubfresh onto a cotton bud and wiped it over the nail........nothing.........tried to scrub a little harder.........went mildly tacky but no colour came off......scrubbed really hard and a minimal amount of coulour came off! but i was scrubbing like i wanted to remove it by then! hth x

:?: Thanx for your help! Do you use this product to prolong the life of your clients polish ect? Also if anyone knows of any other products plz let me know!

The problem is that anything solvent resistant would lock solvents in. Hence the reason why you have to wait for a full enamel cure before putting something like that on.
1 day isn't needed... more like a couple hours (depending on your application).

Thermoshield isn't solvent resistant in the same way as Faze2 or gel finishing coats.

HTH's

So would a thin top coat of brisa gel be ok? Does faze2 have to be set in a lamp or does it air dry?

Not sure on Brisa but Faze 2 can be either air dried or cured. HTH :D

Thanx I will give it a try!
