Hi lift or permanent colour?

Hey guys, so I've decided to start back up mobile and get on this hairdressing scene again!! woohoo!!

trouble is ive forgotten a few things!

I have a client who is a base 6/7 dark blonde naturally and its virgin hair.

she would like to go a shade lighter with highlights just so its not too 'gloomy and dead' looking. Do I hi lift with a 6% (theres minimal grey) or shall I just use a permanent 7/8 colour with 6/9%?

Very hard to say without seeing it but I would probably just use tint with 6/9% depending on how many levels of lift you want. 6% up to 2 levels 9% 3 levels.

I am thinking tint also, with 6% and using a tint with a blue undertone to avoid a ginger outcome!

Sounds like you'd benefit from going on a colour refresher course if you've not done any colour work for a while.
Most wholesalers runs inexpensive basic refresher courses quite regularly.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I'm looking at refresher courses as we speak. Im popping into the wholesaler tomorrow so will enquire and book then hopefully.
